Ok, so this is a bit of a tight fit.....

Here is what I did:

With the tank and side covers off, I sat on the seat and held the carbs in place, set the bottom part of the carbs half way in the bottom part of the
manifolds, put your feet (preferably with shoes on) on the top of the carbs and kick.... for me, they just slipped right on with the proper leverage!!!

P.S. Are these CR35's too big?

I'll post some pics.

I checked, and it's a 900 block.... but we found out that it has a KZ1000 crank!
The rotor has the woodruff key in it to keep it in place (unlike the 900's).
Who knows what motor is in it.... I sure as heck don't!!!
I tried starting it yesterday and that woodruff key was snapped in 2!!!!
So it must have some hight compression!!!!

How big is the motor? Stock KZ1000? If so, then they are too big. Those would be fine on a 1135-1200 or so. 29mm smoothbores are great on a stock motor or up
to about 1075-1105. 32mm-34mm CV carbs work good on a 1075 motor because they don't flow as much as a flatslide 34mm carb because of the throttle plate.
You could use those carbs on a 1075 with some bigger cams, etc. though.
